1990 Ford E-350 van won't start

1990 Ford E-350 cutaway van, 5.8 liter 351-V8, 93,000 miles.
The engine will turn over but it will not run.
I have done the following in trying to solve the problem:
Replaced the distributor and module.
Replaced the throttle position sensor.
Replaced the fuel pressure regulator.
Replaced the powertrain control module.
Replaced the spark plugs and plug wires.
Replaced the ignition switch.
Checked the compression--- it is at a normal 150lbs per cylinder.
Checked the timing chain--- it is tight.
Checked the egr valve.
Bypassed the fuel pump--- fuel pressure tests at 40psi.
The battery has a full charge.
Adequate electrical current is reaching the spark plugs and the ignition switch.
Adequate fuel is reaching the spark plugs.
No codes are indicated when the engine scanner is used.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what to try next?

have you removed the distributor, plug wires, or timing chain for any reason? You have all three components of combustion available (spark, fuel, compression) but need to insure they all reach the same place at the right time.....let us know....

EDIT: I just noticed you had replaced the distributor.....sounds like you're out of time....are you sure the engine was on top dead center of the COMPRESSION stroke when you dropped the distriutor in place? You would not be the first person in the world to time an engine 180 degrees out because of being on the exhaust stroke instead of the compression stroke, been there, done that, as have many of us......
