honda accord 1996 synthetic oil

can i change over to synthetic motor oil i have 100,00 miles
and have been using regular motor oil.whats the avantage
of synthetic motor oil.

None at this point.

The "damage" has been done in the form of wear. Putting in synthetic at this point is a waste of time and money. Should have done it from new. It will not damage anything, just will be a grand waste of time.

Most cars will not benefit much from synthetic oil. Use good quality dino oil and change it regularly. Just as good.
