Clutch problems

I have a '94 Suzuki, with a manaul trans. Last night, while driving, the clutch got increasingly tight. It was like trying to turn the wheel without power steering. The clutch is still working, but its hard to push the pedal down. Does anyone know what may be causing this or what the solution is? Please help!

Cable or linkage problem if non hydraulic.

Bad master clutch cylinder if hydraulically controlled.

Likely internal problems inside (damaged pressure plate, throwout bearing, disc, fork, etc).

When's the last time it has had a clutch done?
