Good info Mooser.

Old Joe never spent ducats on geegaws like that. No benefit, just more dirt into the engine.

The issue is not the filter so much as the air intake, the manifold, the heads, etc.

More to it than an air filter

I took a look at your link. I've been trying to explain this very thing to some people recently. It's like putting chicken wire on your windows vs regular screen. No matter how sticky you make the chicken wire, it won't stop as many bugs from getting in.

Good post Mooser1. I've been telling people this for years, but they still go out and buy the K&N filters anyway. Now I can point to the URL and show them.
