AC/Heating Fan only blows on the highest setting

I have a 99 Ford Explorer Sport. The fan will not blow any air on the 3 lowest settings, but will work on the highest setting. On the panel for the backseat, all of the levels seem to blow air. The temperature is working fine, only having a problem with the blower for the main dash controls.

Sounds like a bad blower resistor.

1999 vehicle, should be covered under the factory warranty. Make Ford eat the repair.

I had the same problem with my 96 Explorer. I don't remember what the cause was, but my warranty covered it. Since yours is a 99 I'm assuming you're still under warranty. Ford is pretty good about stuff like this. At least my dealer was. Good luck.
