I have a 1992 250 Dodge Ram Van. I do my own maintainance and tuneups. The "check engine" light came on a while back. I know everything is in good shape. Can you tell me how to turn it off. Thanks

disconnect your battery for a few minutes, this should reset the light....

chances are it will come on again soon, your engine's trying to tell you something, you should scan the codes and find the problem before it gets too serious....

just a thought.....

The light is coming on because the engine control computer has detected a sensor out of range and a trouble code has been stored in memory. Click here for trouble code retrieval info. The code won't necessarily pinpoint the problem, but it will point you in the right direction.
