1977 Olds Cutlass Heater Core Repacement

Does Anyone out there have any hints on replacing the heater core in a 1977 Olds Cutlass, w/ 350 V-8 and Air Conditioning?
I have to replace mine TODAY! and any tips would be appreciated.

You should pick up a service manual for your application to guide you through it. Try the library or the parts store.

It is accessed through the engine compartment. The hardest part is separating the plastic housing that covers the core. If you're not careful, you'll break it. There are numerous small 1/4" bolts that hold it all down. After that, it's cake.

The part is cheap too.

Check the link in my signature file for some service manual information, but it's a little too old for them to include it.
