Question vibration when braking

i have a 1996 kia sephia r.s. when i mashed on the brake pedal there was a hard vibration.i thought that the wheels was out of balance, well i got new tires in front,no help.i changed the front brake pads no help.i changed the back brake shoes no help. i noticed that the left front boot was cracked so i had the c.v. joint replaced.that didn't help.i have good brakes no prob but when you press the pedal it's not a smooth stop.what could be causing this? is this a bad brake booster and how can i tell without buying one? any suggestions? thanks.

did you have the front rotors turned down when you replaced the pads?

they are possibly warped...

also check for worn wheel bearings and/or suspension parts, tie-rod ends, etc.

worn front struts will also cause this problem...

just a thought...

Wiped brake rotors.

Not even worth cutting. They tend to warp on front drive cars as they are made of gum.

Pitch 'em for a new set. Cheap enough.

to be honest with you I pretty much like 'em all, except Robbie Gordon is a sissy and Buckshot Jones is an idiot....find myself rooting more these days for Dale Jr....nothing wrong with Jeff just cause he's a California boy....

Back on topic...lol.

Looks good means nothing. It's how they operate under load.

Pulsating when braking is bad/warped rotors.

I agree...get new ones, or get 'em turned. You can't tell that they're warped by looking at them.
