The year of the beast would help.

Depending on how old it is, either Ford directly or Rockland Gear who handles Borg Warner tranny parts.

Be prepared to spend a mint on one, as BW tranny parts can be rarer then hen's teeth.

Might be worth it to try and find another box and pitch the one you have.

What's wrong with your existing shift rail? I've repaired lots of these transmissions (they have a habit of eating the input shaft bearing & cluster shaft needle bearings) & I don't ever remember seeing a bad shift rail.

Is the rail bent, broken, etc?

The truck I need the shift rail for is a 1989 Ford F 150 4x4 with 5.0 motor The shift rail broke in half where the fork is mounted to it,

Likely still available from Ford. Hit your local Ford dealer's parts department.

Probably has to be ordered, as this is not a commonly broken or serviced part.
