92 Chevy S-10

I have a 92 S-10 with a 2.8 v6. The oil pressure gage shows o pressure when running. There is no noise from the motor at all.
It runs good and strong no other problems at all.

Do you think it could be a bad oil sending unit and if so where is it located.

Thanks

the sensor should be located just behind the distributor and to your right as you look at the engine......

Yep, likely a bad sending unit. Common problem. Any parts store has this part...only a couple of bucks.

The oil pressure sending unit is located on the oil filter housing.
NOT by the distributer. They run around $30.
Check that the connector hasn't come loose from the sending unit.
