1988 Cadillac Deville

I have a 1988 Cad Deville that posted before. I was told that my cad might be dumping fuel causing the black smoke. I checked autozone for a fuel pressure gauge as suggested, but they did not have one. The smoke is getting thicker. While driving, the car boggs down, runs sluggish, and does not accelerate (unless I back off the pedal and start pressing it again). Sometimes, it hesitates then also. What suggestions do you have?

Get the fuel pressure gauge. You could also have a bad MAP sensor or a vacuum leak. Most parts stores can test the parts before you replace 'em.

See my signature file. What are your trouble codes?
