Question blower not working on 88 mazda 626

I have a 88 mazda 626 the blower quit working for the heater. I have checked the fuses and all seem to be working. Have haynes auto repair manual not explicite enough. my blower is located under the passenger dashboard. can't seem to figure out the problem.............HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad blower motor, relay or resistor.

Bring power to the fan motor to rule that out.

Likely a burned resistor. Call your dealer for the location. Their parts department will tell you. It looks like a metal wire with coils and is screwed usually behind the glovebox or the firewall.

Repairs didn't work

Had blower checked, had coil checked and neither was the problem. wiring all looke ok. used voltmeter and seem to be getting proper current. not sure what to do next. also autolibrary page won't open up anymore.............HELP!!!

There is usually a blower relay under the dash. Do you get power there?

Give your Mazda dealer a call for its location.

If the Autolibrary link is down, I suggest you pick up a repair manual for your application from the parts store or the library.
