where to find an online how to repair site similar to haynes and chilton service books? and where as i'd like some input on repairing cavalier and not interested in shop rates help please

The free sites are good, but might skip some details. The factory book is the way to go if the car is worth repairing.

That or an Alldata.com subscription.

LOL...that's the understatement of the century!

Haynes, Chilton & the autolibrary.org site are ok for basic maintenance & a some general repairs, capacities & specifications info. If you need detailed wiring diagrams diagnostic info, you'll need the OEM manual, which is available from Helm, Inc.
