Chevy electrical

Hello

I have 1990 Chevy caprice classic Brougham.190,000 mi.305,automatic trans.I just discovered that the electrical
cable to my stereo amp that comes off of the positive battery cable has been shorting on the fender well.I repaired the problem. Is it possible that this short could have caused damage
to the computer or any of the sensors?

Thanks in advance,

Doubt it but recheck the quality of your installation...sounds hokey.

I don't like aftermarket stereos..in most cases you have to cut the original harness. Looks terrible.

www.crutchfield.com has kits that use the OE harness..that's the way to go.
