help with tachometer 95 s10

ok I like to think i can handle working on my truck......
well I was wrong...
I wanted to add a tach to my ride and the insructions seem straight forward until i try to do it i have the power , ground, and lights hooked up but i need to attach it to my distributer or at least i think.....I'm not even sure i have one.... any help you could give me would be great .......perhaps a tutorial somwhere

Aftermarket tachs/gauges look very hokey when installed. Yuck!

Yes it has a distributor. Is this the right tach for the truck?

What brand is it? Should see about a GM accessory one.

it is ugly but

its a Sun Super tach........

i'm gonna put it low under dash i'm not to worried about looks

I'm just not sure what to look for when it comes to the negative side of the ignition coil..........no laughing......please....
i was wondering if you could point me in the right direction

Check the links in my signature file. Might find some wiring information in there.

Generally the distributor cap cover (if so equipped) is marked "TACH". I know it is on older GM vehicles.
