1993 Ford Thunderbird slipping gear and sudden loss in speed and force.
My car has been slipping in first gear it feels very different. Someone has been attempting to break into my car and has tampered with my alarm. My anti-lock system and kill switch are not functioning. I think there are also parts to the transmission missing? Please tell me what to look for in the motor. The car is a 1993 Ford Thunderbird 5.0 VO (V8) LX

The two problems are likely unrelated, but remove that aftermarket alarm system (they are mostly crap anyhow) and see if the problem goes away. If it does, the alarm is poorly wired, pitch it or install it right.
It's doubtful someone did something to the transmission unless they unplugged something. Get it to a shop and have it gone through. If it slips in first gear, it might have internal transmission trouble.
