starter motor instalation
I need to figure ut how to install a starter motor in a 1974 Grandville Pontiac. Anyone who can help please e-mail me at shortgrass@yahoo.com

Take out the old (two bolts) remove the wires (mark the location).
Install the shims as originally installed and reverse the above steps.
15 minute job on an old tin Indian like that.
Get a Delco rebuilt starter for best results. Check the links in my signature file or go to your local library for more information.

dont forget to remove power
Joe I would also remove a battery cable I just hate to waste a good wrench because it welded to a ground and also it can get pretty hot and burn your hand
