88 Tracer

88 Tracer

I have an 88 Tracer that is not sparking.....I have replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor, and rotor...the ignition coil tested good.....it's still not sparking....any ideas??

As I mentioned earlier...the ignitor/module is a possibility.

Take it to the parts store and have it checked.

Did you obtain a repair manual for this? Have you checked the links in my signature file for service manual information and ideas?

yes...I have looked and looked and looked for any information on this vehicle....and I have yet to find any.....and yes....I have checked your links and still have found nothing....

Take out the ignitor (either on the distributor or remotely mounted) and have it tested by a parts store before purchasing a new one.

A Ford dealer's parts dept. should be able to help in finding the location as well.

Let us know what you find.
