Timeing belt
Hello I have a '94 escort, 1.9 litre engine. I was replacing a leaky
water pump and when putting the timeing belt on it slipped off
the idler. I know how to alighn the marks on this engine as I replaced the belt 20K ago. The problem is the crank moved maybe
a full turn or two before I realized what happened. Can I just
re-alighn the marks as usual or do I have to find TDC and try to go
from there?? any help would be grately app....

Thanks for the info Chad, I found TDC on #1 cyl. and re-installed
the belt. Running fine now,-phew- feel like I dodged a bullet on
this one! I've had this car since new and always changed the oil
and taken good care of it, would have been a bummer to crush
my valves! Again, thanks......
