1985 Chevy Astro Brakes

Vehicle: 1985 Chevy Astro Van, V-6
Prob# 1: Thought I'd buy this as a work van...lol
Prob# 2: Driving yesterday, and the brakes felt like they 'left' me. Checked the fluid and small reservoir was empty. Thought I'd not checked it (although I had) and purchased some fluid only to watch it drain out of the left rear portion brake area. Before I pull off the tire and look confused....was wondering if anyone can give me some insight.....thanx much....Michael

Leaky wheel cylinder or broken brake line more than likely.

Time for a full overhaul. All new friction, cut the drums and rotors and new brake hardware. New wheel cylinders.

Check it all out thoroughly. Brakes are not worth skimping on. Use only quality parts.
