Engine Locked?

Hellllllppp...My wife has a 96 Chevy Lumina....100,000 miles...had been running hot, but no heater working..had thermostat replaced..seemed fine...

Today, highway driving, started to overheat...By the time I was able to get off the highway, temp gauge pegged out...Stopped for a light, and the engine died...Popped the hood, coolant recovery tank full, but the radiator was not hot...Able to pop the radiator cap w/out having to wait...Looks like water pump was leaking...Added coolant, but now it won't turn over?? Is the engine seized up or possibly something else?

Check rotation

This sounds bad. Take out all your spark plugs, and with the starter try and crank it over. Make sure you have a good charged battery.

Write back after you check.
