1991 Honda Prelude Trannsmission

I have a 1991 Honda Prelude with a 5 speed transmission. We just put in a new motor and now we have problems with the transmission. We are only able to get 3rd 4th 5th and reverse.
Can't get 1st and 2nd. The transmission work fine before we changed the motor. We installed a new clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing. Can anybody give me some ideas to what might be the problem.

Thanks

Is it hydraulically or cable controlled? Make sure there are no issues there.

Sounds like an internal clutch problem or a linkage adjustment. Check the links below for service manual information.
