2000 Ford E-350 van

I have a 2000 Ford E-350 van with a triton v8 motor, automatic transmission. Can anybody tell me what the shift pionts are. I mean at what speed should it shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd.

The shift points will be in the Factory Service Manual. Or go to
www.autolibrary.org they may have them at this site. Are you having a problem with the Trans? I'm sure Joe will be along any moment now with his thoughts.

Roman #13 is correct .

Factory service manual type literature. Usually irrelevant because if you supsect trouble, you have a 2000 model year van. Your warranty will cover any repairs.

Many times it is a range of MPH that is acceptable. You can usually tell transmission trouble. Late shifting is usually erratic and the RPM's are higher than they should be.
