slip yoke grease

I have a 92 full size blazer that had a clunk at the rear yoke at the transfer end of the driveshaft. I replaced the yoke but the hot auto trans fluid washes the grease out of the yoke. Is there a spesial grease for this?

Lost you here. Why is transmission fluid coming out of the transmission into the yoke? Something doesn't sound right here.

You need Slip Yoke Grease. Available from any GM dealer under P/N 12345879.

You're welcome, Chuck.

BTW, don't be shocked when the dealer asks you to fork over $20-30 for a small container of grease!

Try pricing it out at www.gmpartsdirect.com

They make their green on shipping and handling and charge GM wholesale prices to the public.
