Leaking coolant

I own a 1997 Chevy s-10 pickup. 4 cylinder, 2WD. I have coolant leaking inside the vehicle from behind/under the dashboard. I suspect it is from a failing heator core. My question is, how difficult is it to install a new heator core ? Should any other parts be replaced at the same time ?

Try the link below for removal of core. It's step by step. The only other thing I can think of to replace would be the hoses.Check them for wear. And replace if neccessary.

I agree. Do you get steam on your windshield? Sure sounds like a bad core to me.
