GM starter
I saw some info that said you could bypass the starter solenoid and check the starter by running twelve volts to the field terminal on the starter, with the starter still on the car. This would cause the starter to spin, but would not engage the drive gear because you are bypassing the solenoid, is that correct? I haven,t tried it. thanks
