86 accura integra waterpump replacement

I am looking for information on replacing the waterpump on an 86 accura integra. I'm pretty good under the hood just haven't dived into this repair before.

Thanks,

W

The most difficult part of this job is removing the harmonic balancer bolt. Honda torques the bejesus out of these things & many 1/2" drive impact wrenches won't remove them.

If you don't have access to air tools, you can buy a special crankshaft holding tool to hold the crank while you use a BIG breaker bar to remove the bolt.

Replace the timing belt while you're in there...you have to remove it to get the water pump off anyway.
