Serpentine belt

I have a 99 Ford Tauras, 3.0 liter, How do I adjust the tension on the serpentine belt?

As far as I know it should have an automatic tensioner, you shouldn't have to do anything. If it's too loose then I believe you have to replace the tensioner. I'm not a FORD expert however, so I could be wrong...

I'm know ford has been using auto belt tensioner since early 90's maybe early than that. Ususally the tensioner has marks and when it reaches last one its time for a new belt.

I agree. You don't adjust the tension. It is automatic. When it wears out it shows on the pointer of the tensioner. Then it's time to replace it.
