1983 Dodge P/U wont stay running?

I have a 1983 Dodge 1/2 ton, 4x4 truck that wont stay running.When I start it up it runs perfect for about 2 or 3 minuets & then it is like the choke is staying on but I disconnected it & it does the same thing.I have tryed:a different Carb,Coil,Fuel Filter,Air Filter,PCV Valve,Cap & Rotor.I can't figure it out Please Help It would be very appreciated.

Check that the choke IS operating properly. It should gradually open up as the engine warms up. About 1/8" after initial startup and then completely vertical (up and down) after it warms up.

If it opens TOO quickly, it will choke the engine out making it too lean.
