Nissan Pathfinder Clutch replacement

I am having a problem with the removal of the two suspension rods under my 1987 Nissan Pathfinder. I have everything else off and can't finish transmission removal until I remove the suspension rods. I could use some advise or an illistration to guide me. Thanks.

Whoa Nelley. Shouldn't tackle this without a Nissan shop manual...

That being said, check the link in my signature file for some ideas first. If that fails, time for an Alldata.com subscription or a factory service manual for some ideas.

Thanks, I bought a manuel and it doesn't tell me

I bought a manuel on the Pathfinder, it doesn't go into enough detail. It is a 1987 Nissan Pathfinder, 4x4, 6 cylinder, manuel 5 speed, I have already dropped everything off except the two rods, attached to the rear and front.

Which manual did you buy? Probably not the FACTORY one . That is the best and most detailed one for the truck. I highly suggest it. It's worth the money.

If not, a subscription to Alldata.com should provide some of what you need.

Barring that, the links in my signature file might help too.
