car was running, then i stoped at a stop sign and as soon as i gave it gas it would want to stall out. it would idle fine. if i shut it off it would start fine. then i let it sit for a week and it wont start now. it will turn over, at first i thought it was the fuel pump and i replaced the fuelfilter. you can smell gas after trying to start it for awhile. at times it will almost start. is this a fireing problem or electrical. the plugs, wires, cap,and distribiter are fairly new. the alternater is new as well.
