Does any one know of any articles or submissions about replacing shocks on a 1993 jeep wrangler. I'd like to try and do it myself.

With a truck like that, it's high enough to just sneak under and remove the old and insert the new.

An air compressor helps with rusty bolts. Spray all of them with WD40 before putting a wrench to any of them.

What I do is typically support the vehicle on a stand and then use a jack to lower and raise the rear/shock brackets so I can bolt it all together.

The links and posts in my signature file might have some help.
