having problems with cooling system replaced the raditor thermostat now overheating...heat blows cold even when gauge is reachink hot temps...

might have air in the system. look for a bleeder screw?.

Run it temporarily without the stat. See if it overheats or not. Thermostats have been known to be defective out of the box.
