Question Rainy Day Missfire

I HAVE A 1994 JEEP WRANGLER. STANDARD TRANSMISSION WITH FOUR CYLINDER ENGINE. AFTER RAINSTORM ENGINE MISSFIRES
VERY BADLY. AFTER ABOUT TWO MINUTES OF FAST IDLEING MOTOR
MISSFIRE STOPS. I HAVE REPLACED ALL SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES. I HAVE REPLACED DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR. WHAT
ELSE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND.

Killing the caps for one...no need to shout.

Check the links in my signature file for some ideas. Might still have a bad set of wires.

Check www.alldata.com for known bulletins on this problem as well.

Sounds like water is getting into spark plug boots or distributor cap. Try a little silicone grease around boots and where cap fits to distributor. Good luck.
