92 Honda Accord LX - Won't Start
1992 Honda Accord LX
Most Recent Major Repairs:
Replaced Struts & Shocks in '02
Replaced Front Exhaust Flex Pipe in '02
Replaced Distributor/Dist. Cap/Rotor & Wire Set in '00
Replaced Water Pump & Timing Belt in '99 (PM)
Problem:
The car lost power while accelerating from a stop and died.
The car will not start.
I am not getting a spark from the distributor wires.
The distributor, cap and rotor appear to be fine.
How do I determine if the Dist. Pick-ups (or Amps) are ok?
How do I check to see if the Coil is ok?
Any suggestions would be helpful!

Many, many woes and grief from Honda ignition systems of this vintage.
Make sure you have the latest and greatest parts from Honda on it. There have been many supersessions of part numbers for these vintage Accords.
That being said, I believe Honda was eating repairs on these cars for ignition problems for a while. Check alldata.com for more information.
As for testing procedures, see my signature file below.
