Decal Removal

Is it possible to remove vinyl decals from a 96 Windstar, or are they permanently attached by now?

You can remove them with a heat gun & a soft plastic scraper. Body filler spreaders work especially well as decal scrapers.

Be careful!! Too much heat can damage the paint. Apply just enough heat to soften the decal, then scrape with the plastic scraper.

If you don't have a heat gun, try a blow dryer set on "high". If that doesn't work, head to your local autobody supply & pick up a can of 3M decal remover.

one other trick

Good ol WD-40 will remove many stickers, and decals, all without hurting the paint.
