Carburator Repair

I have a 1979 Lincoln Continental with a Motorcraft 2 barrel carburator - It started leaking gas out of the front opening, above the diaphram. what is the easiest way to fix this?

Needs to be rebuilt. Bring the ID # off the carb (usually stamped into the choke plate or under a metal tag) with you to the parts store and request a rebuild kit. Also replace the choke pull off and the choke thermostat and float at the same time.

Rebuild instructions come with the carburetor kit.

The Motorcraft (based loosely on the Holley 2150) is one terrible design .
