Where is my intake manifold?

Pontiac 6000 LE

I am having fan troubles. I need to find my fan switch that is located on the intake manifold. Near the intake manifold. What does it look like?

It is the large block of metal that the carburetor is sitting on (Assuming you have the 2.8 carbureted motor, which you should in this year).

Give a quick call to any GM dealer's parts department. They will net the location of the switch in a couple of seconds with their parts computer. Fastest way.
