90 Honda Accord
I have a 90 Accord that starts a big harder then usual, and when running you can smell the unburned gas odor. I replaced the spark plugs with Bosh Platinum, and the old ones (non platinum) didn't look that bad. That didn't make any difference. I'm going to replace the spark plug wires and distribuitor cap. What else should I do to bring it "up to par? I recently took the emissions test, and the car showed a bit high on the HC reading, but still was lower then the max.

Coils, caps, ignitors, lots of woes in this vintage Accord. Parts have been superseded many times due to problems and poor design.
How's the fuel pressure? Might have a bad fuel pressure regulator. Check it with a reliable hand held gauge.
