Joe's Tool Box

Hi all,

Our friend Joe F from the Automotive forum on this doityourself site found an old tool box. He restored it and won an award from Sears for his effort...great job Joe!!

jeff.

p.s. Now if he could just get that build in oven to co-operate

Lol.

Yup, that's me . We're working on the wall oven . Waiting for Maytag to send the right parts and then it should be good to go. Lol.

This is a 1960 Craftsman toolbox that I got at an estate sale in 2001. I did a lot of research on it and had to make parts (friend is a machinist at work), buy some, fix others. Not bad for 50 bucks .

I have a copy of the ORIGINAL catalog ad for it from the Sears catalog in 1960 .

Cool, nice job, gotta organize my garage soon. Got about a dozen small tool boxes scattered throughout and the rest have been loaned to "friends" without return. I know I saw that torque wrench in here somewhere!!!
