Could anyone tell me where I might find info on installng repacement airbags on a 1998 Mustang?

The Ford factory service manual and only there. My signature file below has links to where to purchase them.

I do not recommend you replace your own air bags. You need specialized tools, service procedures and equipment to service the air bag system correctly. This is not something you want to compromise.

This is a job for the dealership.

I agree with Joe_F. Airbag replacement is NOT a DIY job. If you're not happy w/ your local Ford dealer, check w/ area body shops. These shops deal w/ deployed airbags every day & should be able to service yours or refer you to someone else who can service them.
