air polution pump

First of all I'd like to thank everyone who kept me running in Mexico. I just returned to the city and took my van in for inspection and was told I needed a smog pump, air polution pump. 85 Dodge, full sized van, 318ci engine. Anyone ever do on of these? It's not in my Haynes manual. Thanks and a happy memorial day.

Any parts store stocks/can get this. A-1 Cardone is the largest reman company that does them and most parts stores stock them.

Depending on what's in the way, it should be fairly straightforward once the belts come off.

Make sure that the air tubes and check valves in the system connected to the pump are not rotted out, missing or misrouted. That will cause grief too.
