95 Grand Voyager starter problems?

when starting my 95' (67K miles) grand voyger every morning, i first get a "click" at the turn of the key. However, the second or third consecutive turn results in the vehicle starting. This problem only occurs after the vehicle has been sitting overnight - there are no problems with turning off the vehicle and restarting thereafter. The original battery has been replaced. I'm not sure if the problem is caused by a bad starter or something minor. Any advise/opinions are greatly appreciated. tom.

Rap on the starter when it happens again in the morning. If it starts, bad starter more than likely.

Also check your connections for corrosion and tightness.
