finding stowed position after replacing wiper motor

replaced a wiper motor on a 95 gmc pick up unable to get wiper arms into stowed postion....can u help

There is usually a park switch located in the motor. It may be defective. This is what "parks" (or brings to rest) the wipers.

Rap on the motor with a rubber mallet (while someone turns the switch on the column off) to see if that helps. If it does, defective motor.

Might bear in mind that there were a lot of recalls on wiper motors at this time. Dealers were replacing circuit boards by the numbers.
