Ford F-150 oil pan change

Got the same problem as "The Duck". My pan is shot. I'm temporarily trying a liquid metal patch good to 450 degrees (not sure if it'll work). My question is I'm told I will have to loosen or remove one or both of the motor mount nuts in order to get the old pan off. How do I get the motor up off the cross member once this is achieved?

Jack it up using the harmonic balancer as the contact point for the jack, or pick it up with an engine hoist.
