Pickup Truck air condition

I have a 1987 GMC pickup, what must I do to convert my air conditioner form R12 to the R134 freeon.

R12 works best in vehicle that was designed for it......R134A is not as efficienct of a replacement.

At minimum: New orifice screen, new dryer, new hoses, new O rings, flush out the old oil and replace with R134A compatible oil.

I have used Autofrost which is an R12 replacement with success in my older GM cars.
