mercury couger (Dipstick guide/Tube)?

Tube came out along with dipstick. How are these normally held to the block (or oil pan)?Tackweld? "O" ring? Anybody? Oh yeah It's a 1993 mercury couger. Thanks

Most of the time they have a bracket tack welded to the side of them with an eyelet.Usually they're attached to an exhaust stud with a nut.
