I have a 1991 camaro rs, and am having brake problems. The drivers side brake keeps locking up. I just put new pads on, and bled the system through the system, and the caliper will not release. the passemgers side does not have this problem. Can this be the proportional valve?

Might be.Most of the time though it's either a faulty brake hose or caliper. The hose will deteriate inside itself and you can blead it but it won't allow the fluid to flow back to the master cylinder as when the caliper is supposed to release.

It is likely a bad brake hose for the reason Fordtech stated.

Pitch 'em both for new ones. Any parts store has them, a couple of bucks.
