Changing mazda 626 spark plugs problem

I own a 1995 mazda 626 but there is a problem with changing the spark plugs. At the end of the spark plug wires there is a long plastic piece and at the end of that there is the spark plug boot. The problem is when I take out the spark plug wires off of the spark plug the rubber boot stays attached to the spark plug and I have no idea how to get it off. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

If the boots separate like that, the wires are likely wiped and should be changed for a new set.

You can twist off the rubber with a pair of pliers or cut it with a razor since you're likely going to have to change the wires anyhow.
