i've got a 1990 mustang lx sedan I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on replacing my rear windsheild.

Leave it to a glass shop. It's a bit involved and the last thing you want to do is compromise glass integrity.

Source a used glass yourself and have a glass shop handle the repair.

If you choose to do it yourself, pick up a shop manual. Each vehicle varies as to installation procedures and materials required.
